Meet Alex
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Alex is a compassionate therapist who believes healing emerges through connection, collaboration, and care. She brings extensive experience supporting clients in a variety of clinical and community settings, including domestic violence shelter and centers, Baker Act receiving facilities, inpatient and outpatient programs, and both individual and group therapy. Alex is skilled in trauma-informed care and crisis management interventions, guiding clients safely through challenging moments while helping them reconnect with their inner strengths.
In therapy, Alex views the process as a partnership, meeting clients where they are and moving toward growth at a pace that feels right for them. Her approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, presence, and respect for each client’s unique experience. She also integrates evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic techniques, and strength-based practices, tailoring her approach to each individual’s needs. Alex encourages clients to explore new perspectives and make meaningful changes while creating a safe, supportive environment free from overwhelm.
Originally from New York, Alex earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University and her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She brings both her professional training and personal perspective to her practice, fostering a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported on their journey toward healing.
