Nina is a dedicated therapist with a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges. Her journey into counseling was inspired by her work with disadvantaged and trauma-exposed populations, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of support and guidance. She holds a Master of Science degree from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University. With experience in diverse settings—including mental health clinics, healthcare facilities, schools, and colleges—since 2009 Nina has worked with individuals from all walks of life, equipping them with the tools they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
Nina understands that life’s journey is not always smooth. She believes that while everyone encounters hardship, loss, and pain, these moments do not determine one’s worth or future—and no one has to face them alone. Challenges are part of self-growth, and seeking help is a courageous step toward healing.
Nina is committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly share and work through their struggles. Her goal is to help individuals harness their strengths, develop resilience, and empower themselves to manage challenges more effectively. She believes that with the right support, everyone can move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life and become the best version of themselves.
Using an integrative approach, Nina tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs and personal experiences. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and a person-centered approach, recognizing that everyone has the capacity to create positive change. Her sessions focus on equipping clients with practical strategies and tools to navigate life’s obstacles while working toward optimal mental well-being.
Nina’s approach is grounded in the belief that life doesn’t have to be a series of events that happen to us—we each have the power to reshape what comes next.
"I am here to walk alongside you, helping you find strength, resilience, and a path forward."
